Pocahontas Middle School introduced to the Rule of Law Project

Monday morning, Nov. 19, Pocahontas Middle School will partner with the Henrico County Bar Association as the association introduces its new Rule of Law Project to Henrico County students. This event is the inaugural event, where students are introduced to what the rule of law is and what it means through personal interaction with practitioners. The mission of the Rule of Law Project is to enhance the way students learn about the rule of law as the basis for all of the rights and responsibilities of American citizens.

“We are excited to welcome Rule of Law to Pocahontas Middle School,” said Principal Kim Sigler. “This program is an excellent opportunity for our students to meet and interact with legal professionals from our community.”

This year’s event features Justice Cleo Powell of the Supreme Court of Virginia, Virginia Attorney General Kenneth T. Cuccinelli, II, Delegate Peter Farrell and a host of fellow attorneys and local law enforcement officials.
The program will from from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Pocahontas Middle School on Three Chopt Road in Henrico. For more information, contact Henrico County Public Schools at 804-652-3825.
